Ah Girls Go Army is a 2022 Singaporean military comedy directed by Jack Neo, exploring the humorous and challenging journey of the first cohort of female recruits undergoing National Service in a fictional near future. The film blends comedy, action, and heartwarming moments, offering audiences a fresh perspective on military life while highlighting themes of teamwork, resilience, and camaraderie.

Our team contributed to the project by creating the opening titles and handling VFX for key sequences throughout the main movie. The opening titles feature dynamic 3D animation, combining stylized typography with military motifs to set the tone for the film’s playful yet action-packed narrative. Throughout the movie, visual effects were used to enhance comedic and action scenes, including animated sequences, environmental enhancements, and subtle digital effects that seamlessly integrated with live action footage.

By combining 3D animation, VFX, and motion design, we helped bring both the humor and the energy of the story to life, ensuring that the visual elements supported the film’s narrative and comedic timing. The project demonstrates a balance of technical precision and creative storytelling, making Ah Girls Go Army an entertaining and visually engaging Singaporean 2-parter movie that showcases the capabilities of 3D and visual effects in modern local cinema.
