Black & White 2: The Dawn of Justice (痞子英雄: 黎明升起) is a Taiwanese action film that follows a brave cop confronting a new and dangerous threat over Harbour City. To prevent total destruction, he must first reconcile with a fellow officer, and together they navigate high-stakes challenges, intense confrontations, and explosive scenarios. The movie combines fast-paced action, suspense, and high-octane drama, showcasing the resilience, courage, and partnership of its lead characters.

Our team contributed to the production through VFX and 3D animation, collaborating with Bulky Animation to enhance the cinematic experience. We created fire and explosion simulations for key action sequences, adding intensity and realism to chase scenes, shootouts, and large-scale destructive events. The 3D animation allowed us to build complex environmental effects, digital doubles, and staged debris, ensuring seamless integration with live-action footage while maintaining the film’s dynamic pace.

From designing digital fire bursts to simulating large explosions and intricate particle effects, the VFX work elevated the movie’s action sequences and helped convey the sense of danger looming over Harbour City.
